Indigo Kelleigh is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, living and working in Portland, Oregon since 1997. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Indy is far more comfortable in the damp, grey Portland climate than anywhere else. He has been drawing comics for over 25 years, and began self-publishing his minicomics in 1988. He was an active member of Portland’s Tranquility Base artist studio until 2012. He is a huge fan of Blue Devil.
In 2004 Indigo helped found the Stumptown Comics Fest, an annual celebration of sequential art. Over the next ten years, he directed the Fest seven more times, helping it grow from a 20-table convention in a small historical church to one of the country’s largest independent-comics conventions with over 150 exhibitor spaces and over 2000 annual attendees. During the course of his involvement, Indigo also helped found Stumptown Comics, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educational outreach and comics advocacy.
Indy’s drink-of-choice is either a double tall decaf soy mocha, or a neat single-malt scotch, depending on what time of day it is. When he’s not busy making art for you, he’s re-watching old movies and tv-shows, playing pinball at the local arcade, or hanging out with his daughter.
Indy is available for all of your illustration, sequential art, storyboarding, character design, game asset creation, pixel art, publication layout, and logo design needs. Take a look through his portfolio, and then contact him for a quote on your next project!
